Fun, Hobbies and Travel

This is more than a hobby; it's hands-on engineering. As a weekend builder, I'm regularly hands-on with advanced vehicle diagnostics, ECU coding , and full mechanical and electrical retrofits and maintenance. I also design, CAD model, and fabricate custom parts.

My passion for performance extends to the track. I'm an avid kart racer and love the thrill of pure competition and tuning for the perfect lap. I was thrilled to take 1st place in my last competitive race this past February.

My passion for mechatronics extends to building and flying custom remote-controlled vehicles. I enjoy the full system integration challenge, from assembling cars, drones and planes, to programming flight controller firmware and tuning the electronics for performance.

As an extension of my "Weekend Builder" hobby, I take my 4x4 off the beaten path. I enjoy the unique mechanical challenges and the adventure of navigating tough terrain to explore new trails.

When I'm not in the garage or workshop, you can usually find me on the pickleball court. I'm an avid player and love the fast-paced, strategic, and highly social nature of the game. It's my favorite way to stay active and competitive.

Whether it's on forest trails or open fields, I love the freedom and raw fun of quad biking. It's an exhilarating way to get outdoors and cover a lot of ground.
